Self-Care On The Physical Level

If you want your body to work correctly, you must start taking care of it. It’s important to remember that your physical and mental health are intimately connected. You’ll feel and think better if you take care of your body. Physical self-care encompasses nourishing your body, how much rest and sleep you receive, how much exercise you do, or how well you look after your physical requirements. Physical self-care includes:

  • Going to doctor’s visits.
  • Taking the medication as recommended.
  • Keep track of your health issues.

Consider the following questions to see if there are any areas where you can improve:

  • Are you getting enough rest?
  • Are your meals properly nourishing your body?
  • Are you working out enough?
