Ben Affleck and Matt Damon are well-known for their friendship, but did you know they ended up living together when penning their Oscar-winning script for 1997’s Good Will Hunting? Affleck revealed to Playboy in 1999 that the friends used to reside in a house near Venice Beach and that they had to relocate because they ran out of money.
“We lived in Glendale and Eagle Rock, and we lived in Hollywood, West Hollywood, Venice, by the Hollywood Bowl, all over the place,” he added. He also claimed that they would be kicked out of some areas or that they would have to upgrade or downgrade based on who had the most money. Clearly, wealth is the least of their concerns right now.
