Stacy Brown is a BS graduate from the Wharton School of Business and an MBA from Stanford University. She has been working in Google since 2003 before taking up the CEO role of TaskRabbit and a member of the Board of Directors of HP Inc and Nordstrom.

Stacy recalled her mother worked at a job that didn’t pay a lot of money and so had to make a lot of sacrifices. She gave more importance to education and would help us in doing our homework before going to sleep. Stacy said, “my mother taught us that no one can take your learning away from you, and you can go anywhere and do anything.” “So, I focused on getting good grades. I wasn’t always a popular kid. I didn’t have the best clothes, but I was an intelligent kid.”
