Jennifer Garner – Typically Refuses Her Children’s Requests, Except Once A Year

Jennifer Garner describes herself as a “strict mom,” yet one of her principles is to break the rules now and again. The actress explained that she sets aside one day a year to say yes to anything her children desire.

On The View, Garner revealed that she got the concept for “Yes Day” from a book of the same name, in which a mother answers yes to her children’s wishes all day. “It’s just silly,” Garner remarked.” It’s like, yes, we’re going to have ice cream for breakfast. Yes, we’re going to buy a lottery ticket. It’s the longest day of the year.”
